Missoula Karaoke has been built from the ground up to provide the best karaoke experience possible. This includes top-of-the-line modern equipment, a vast song library, and an easy-to-use online platform for singers. Additionally, we have taken care to ensure that our entire music library is legal and licensed for use in commercial settings. But what's in it for your business when you hire us? Singers Love Us
A great karaoke experience will bring loyal singers, and a great karaoke company will even have singers follow them across different venues and events! A bad karaoke experience can do just the opposite - it may drive singers (i.e. customers) away from both your venue and that particular karaoke business. We know this as frequenters of karaoke events ourselves. In fact, many karaoke singers are very particular about their experience and how a show is run. They expect fair treatment, a large music selection, an easy way to sign up, and high-quality equipment which is well-maintained and makes them sound good. If any of that is lacking, they're gone!
As a result, we've designed our karaoke company from the ground up to provide the experience which singers expect in a karaoke show. We have nearly 100,000 music tracks, a custom-designed platform where singers can view our songs and sign up to sing, and modern equipment which sounds great. Most importantly, we ensure that singers are treated fairly by bringing a positive attitude and ensuring that everyone receives equal singing airtime. Licensed, Insured, and Legal
Not all karaoke companies (or DJs, for that matter, which sometimes also do karaoke) are actual business entities, let alone properly licensed and insured. We are a registered LLC and hold the required Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate in the State of Montana, we carry commercial insurance, and we can provide you with a W-9 for accounting purposes. Additionally, we can prove that every single one of our karaoke music tracks were obtained from licensed sources. Be wary of other operators who carry a catalog of tens of thousands of songs but cannot provide proof of licensing - karaoke music piracy is common, and can expose your business to legal risks if unlicensed music is publicly performed in your venue!

Karaoke Requirements
Our karaoke equipment has minimal requirements. Most venues, both public and private, have the necessary space and power outlets to accommodate our setup.
Firm Requirements
For the safety of all involved, we require the following for all events:
- An indoor location, or a professional grade, fully enclosed event tent.
- A flat, stable surface for our equipment - no grass, dirt, or uneven ground.
- A karaoke "stage" area of approximately 10x10 feet minimum.
- Three 15+ amp, properly grounded power outlets within 15 feet of our equipment.
Suggested Enhancements
While not required, we recommend the following for the enjoyment of your guests:
- A dancefloor area - your guests will often dance to each other's songs!
- At least one TV with HDMI input for audience lyrics display - yours, or ours.
- A wireless internet connection¹ for our computer, kiosks, and guests' phones.
- Refreshments for your guests - singing is thirsty work!
In the future, we will offer fully offline operation, but at this time an internet connection is required.

We offer a number of discounts, as well as special pricing for businesses and anyone interested in recurring karaoke nights. Examples include:
Bar, Lounge, or Club Discount
There's no place like a good karaoke night at your favorite bar, lounge, or club. We offer special pricing for events at these venues.
Recurring Event Discount
Recurring events (i.e. weekly, multiple nights, etc) may be eligible for significant discounts based on frequency, commitment, and the ability to securely leave our equipment on-site.
"Those Who Serve" Discount
We offer discounts for active and former military, as well as first responders, teachers, healthcare workers, and anyone who serves the community. Thank you for your service!
Non-Profit Discount
We may offer a discount, or even free services, for non-profit organizations relevant to our interests. Thank you for your important work! Tip: we like animals and altruists.
Repeat Customer Discount
We offer discounts for repeat customers. We appreciate being invited back, as it is one of the highest compliments we can receive. Thanks for your loyalty!
Referral Discount
Refer another business or individual who books us. They will receive a discount on their first booking, and you will receive a discount on your next booking as a thank you!

Service Areas and Travel Fees
We are based in Missoula, Montana, and primarily serve the surrounding areas within approximately 20 miles of the Missoula, Montana Airport (MSO). If your event is outside our Standard Service Area, additional travel fees may apply. Additionally, overnight accommodations may be required for events which are significantly far away, at late hours, or in certain areas.
The map below shows our approximate service areas. Our service areas are based on driving distance on roads (such as what you would see when navigating via Google Maps), and not a fixed radius. The green area represents our Standard Service Area of approximately 20 miles from MSO. The yellow area represents the Extended Service Area where travel fees will apply. If your event location is in our Extended Service Area, please refer to our Pricing section above for additional mileage costs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive about hiring Missoula Karaoke.
Businesses
We will still likely need to bring our own event stand for our computers and equipment, as well as the karaoke "cart" with the microphones and display for your singers. Please Contact Us to discuss your specific equipment and setup.
Private Events
Pricing and Inclusions
We are happy to play a provided playlist or light fill-in music of our choice as needed. If you have your own DJ, we are also happy to work with them to ensure a smooth karaoke experience.
Other
We can restrict the display and selection of explicit songs in our signup system for your event. For businesses, we can hold explicit songs until a certain time if your venue is all ages until a certain hour. If a known explicit song slips through the cracks, we can decline to play it and remove it when we see it in our queue. Please note that while our library is fairly accurately tagged for explicit content, we cannot guarantee that all explicit songs have been properly identified.
We also cannot guarantee what your singers will say when they have a live microphone in their hand, even if a song is not explicit. How much of a concern this is will depend on your specific event and audience - you probably don't have to worry about too much chaos amongst your church group, for example. We will inform the audience when an event is "family friendly", and we can cut off singers who do not respect that.
Our karaoke system, mixer, wireless HDMI transmitters, and other items are not available for self-hosted events at this time.
